CANDLE CARE 101: Follow These 4 Easy Steps To Make Sure You Get The Most Out Of Your FTN Candles.
Step 01 : Trim Your Wick
Prior to each lighting, trim the wick to 1/4" for a clean and smoke free burn.
Also, always sit your candle on top of its lid to protect the surface in which the candle is burning on.

Step 02 : Your First Burn
On your first light, allow the entire surface of wax to melt. Minimum of 3 hours. There will be some "wax wall hanging," but that's normal.
After the first burn with wax melted to the edge of candle vessel, never let it burn for more than 4 hours. Discontinue use when there's only 1/4" wax left in the vessel.
Step 03 : Center Your Wick
Ensure your wick is centered.
After each burn, adjust the wick while the wax is molten.
Consider using FTN's wick dipper. click here
Step 04 : Upcycle Your Vessel
When 1/4" to 1/2" of wax is left in your candle, it's time to discontinue use and upcycle the vessel.
Always remove the remaining wax.
Pro cleaning tip - put the candle in the freezer until the wax is frozen, then said wax should pop out easily.
